Welcome to the new Citizens for Jesse White Web site. Please take the time to tour it, you will find valuable insight into my administration's goals and accomplishments during my three terms as your Secretary of State.
And because of our accomplishments I am motivated now more than ever to continue to make this office work better for the people of Illinois. That's why I'm running for re-election in 2010.
With your continued support and confidence, I look forward to improving upon the strong foundation that we have laid. We restored integrity to an office that was plagued with corruption; we made our roads safer by enacting tough DUI laws and reforming the truck driver licensing system; and fewer teens are dying on our roadways today because of the new teen driver safety laws we initiated and passed.
I'm proud of our record, but I'm not done yet. It is an honor for me to work for the people of Illinois and it is a responsibility that I never take for granted.
